The V-Tech Head-Mounted Temperature Transmitter is a compact, high-performance device designed for accurate temperature measurement and signal transmission in industrial applications. This transmitter converts signals from RTDs or thermocouples into a stable 4–20 mA output, ensuring precise and reliable temperature monitoring.

This sensor is designed to attach directly to any solar panel. When placed on the center back side of the panel, it accurately measures the temperature of the panel.Prior to installation of the PV temperature sensor onto the PV panel, the installation area of the panel back should be thoroughly cleaned. This cleaning will ensure a good bond between sensor and panel and allow for accurate panel temperature readings.After cleaning, peel off the protective adhesive tape on the temperature sensor and stick it onto the back of the panel. Firmly press the sensor into place.

VT9 is a solar radiation sensor that can be applied for most common solar radiation observations. The scientific name of this instrument is pyranometer. VT9 pyranometer complies with the ISO 9060 second class specifications and the WMO guide. VT19 is a high accuracy hand-held read-out unit / datalogger. The portable VT9 - VT19 combination is well suited for mobile measurements and short term datalogging. VT9 measures the solar radiation received by a plane surface from a 180o field of view angle. This quantity, expressed in W/m2 , is called “hemispherical” solar radiation. VT9 pyranometer can be employed outdoors under the sun, as well as indoors with lamp-based solar simulators. Its orientation depends on the application and may be horizontal, tilted (for plane of array radiation) or inverted (for reflected radiation). VT19 is used to display the measured radiation and for datalogging. Once programmed with the sensitivity of VT9, the display will read the actual value of the solar radiation in W/m2. Programming VT19 is done through its PC interface. The system is delivered in a practical transport case, for easy transport and protection during field measurement campaigns. The case also includes the necessary software, AA-type batteries and a USB cable. Batteries allow for approximately 50 days of operation. VT19 may also be used with other pyranometers and heat flux sensors.

Operation of VT9-VT19 is easy

As VT19 has already been programmed at the factory, read-out of VT9 can be done by switching on the VT19.

Logging options should be set by connecting the VT19 to a PC.

Soil Temperature Sensor consists of a PT1000 RTD embedded at the thermally isolated tip of an SS-316 probe 25 CM in length. The depth at which the measurement is to be made can be adjusted using a position adjustable ring provided on the stem.
